When Worlds Collide

The 1951 original may soon join the recent ranks of sci-fi remakes, however Steven Spielberg is attached to this one.  When Worlds Collide is about a rogue planet on a collision course with Earth.  A group of people are rocketed away from Earth to save mankind.  No word on a release date nor Spielberg's involvement.
