The Odyssey
10/17/08 - Brad Pitt will star in and George Miller will direct an SF take on Homer's The Odyssey for Warner Brothers, Variety reported.  Their intention is to transfer the tale to a futuristic setting in outer space.  Warner has quietly set up The Odyssey, and the early hope is that Pitt will star and Miller will direct, with Pitt's Plan B producing.  The Odyssey focuses on the exploits of Odysseus and his long journey home from the Trojan War.
