The Nye Incidents

9/22/11 - Stuart Paul has been tapped to adapt The Nye Incidents, the comic book co-created by author Whitley Strieber, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  The project is set up at RKO, with Todd Lincoln attached to direct. Lincoln is also producing with Daniel Alter.  Set in the world of alien abductees, the comic centers on a seen-it-all and logical medical examiner whose faith in the rational is shattered when she runs afoul a brutal murder of a supposed alien abductee. The case puts her on the path chasing a serial killer working in the alien abductee community who may or may not be human. 

4/21/09 - Dark Castle has picked up rights to Devil's Due graphic novel The Nye Incidents, from sci-fi and horror novelist Whitley Strieber, Variety reported. Todd Lincoln will direct.  Inspired by real events, the comic book revolves around a medical examiner on the hunt for a killer of alien abductees. No writer has yet been hired to pen the script.
