The Grays

Alien-abduction writer Whitley Strieber announced that Wolfgang
Petersen will direct a film based on Strieber's book The Grays.
Strieber said that Sony picked Petersen to do the film version of
the SF thriller book, which draws heavily from Strieber's
Communion, an account of what he said was his alien abduction.
Filming should start in the next few months with an eye to a release
date in the summer of 2008 or 2009.
