6/22/09 - Oscar-winning visual-effects specialist Charles Gibson will make his big-screen directing debut with the Geoff Rodkey-scripted supernatural family comedy The Goblin, Variety reported; the story revolves around a suburban family that moves into its new home only to find a curmudgeonly goblin who doesn't want them there.
