The Electric Church

1/21/10 - Sony Pictures has picked up the rights to a series of sci-fi novels by Jeff Somers and has hired Trevor Sands to adapt the first book, The Electric Church, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The story centers on a new religion founded by a mysterious man named Dennis Squalor that converts the faithful into cyborgs with human brains, enhanced robotic bodies, and virtually unlimited life spans.
