Sinbad: Rogue of Mars

1/20/11 - Variety reported Morningside Entertainment has optioned the film rights to comicbook Sinbad: Rogue of Mars from Bluewater Prods. for a proposed movie version targeting a 2012 release.  Paul J. Salamoff will write the movie adaptation.  Barry Schneer will executive produce.  The plot follows the sailor's adventures when a Jinn transports Sinbad and his crew to the red planet, where the Jinn's people have long been imprisoned.  Morningside sees the potential for a new trilogy in the Sinbad property.
