10/24/11 – Variety reported that Warner Bros. is developing of a third Sherlock Holmes with Drew Pearce to adapt.  Warners is opening "Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows" in December with Robert Downey Jr. starring and Guy Ritchie directing.  Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey, Dan Lin and Joel Silver produced the "Sherlock" franchise films. The basis for the pics has been both the Arthur Conan Doyle classic stories and the comic book "Sherlock Holmes." Michael Robert Johnson, Anthony Peckham, Simon Kinberg and Wigram worked on the screenplay.
