Red Riding Hood

6/24/10 – Variety reported that Lukas Haas will join the cast of Warner Bros.' Red Riding Hood as the village priest.  Catherine Hardwicke is directing the supernatural thriller that stars Amanda Seyfried along with Shiloh Fernandez, Julie Christie and Gary Oldman. David Leslie Johnson wrote the script, which is set in a medieval village haunted by a werewolf.  Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way banner is producing. He's a producer along with Jennifer Davisson Killoran, Michael Ireland and Alex Mace.

5/27/10 - Warner Bros. chairman and CEO Barry Meyer announced the release date for Red Riding Hood as April 22, 2011.  Red Riding Hood is a gothic horror re-imagining of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale. Amanda Seyfried will play a woman in a medieval village being terrorized by a werewolf.
