Near Dark
10/18/07 - Sam Bayer is expected to direct Near Dark, a remake of the cult vampire movie.  Like the 1987 original, the remake centers on a young man who reluctantly joins a traveling "family" of evil vampires after the girl he tried to seduce bites him and turns him into one.
