\7/28/11 – Variety reported that Warner Bros. will tap Trevor Cawood to helm sci-fi thriller The Karma Coalition.  Jon Silk and Mark Bauch are co-producers on the movie.  Warner-based Dan Lin is producing via his Lin Pictures banner.  From writer Shawn Christensen, the film is about a professor who discovers his dead wife may still be alive -- and then finds a secret organization responsible for the fake death.  Karma Coalition would be Cawood's feature directorial debut.

9/11/08 - Warner Brothers has snapped up Shawn Christensen's SF thriller Karma Coalition for Dan Lin to produce, Variety reported.  Christensen, who is the lead singer of the indie rock band stellastarr, penned the screenplay while working on the New York-based group's upcoming third album.  Karma Coalition centers on a falsely accused fugitive who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind his wife's death before the world comes to an end.
