06/12/08 - Hayden Christensen, star of the recent SF-action film
Jumper, said recently that he will probably sign on for a sequel.
The first film was a loose adaptation of Steven Gould's book about a
young man who discovers he has the power of teleportation. Director Doug
Liman originally conceived of a trilogy of films based on the book,
Christensen said. "It was set up to become that--a trilogy--if it did
well," he said. "And I think they're happy with how it did so they want
to make another one. But I don't think they're rushing to get into
production."
