10/7/08 - Warner Brothers is developing a sequel to its hit Get Smart and has signed a three-year first-look deal with its star, Steve Carell, Variety reported.  Carell has formed Carousel Productions.  Vance DeGeneres and Charlie Hartsock will run the company, which will take offices on the Warner lot.  The sequel will bring Carell back as bumbling secret agent Maxwell Smart. That sequel is not part of the new overall deal.
