Gentleman Broncos
9/19/08 – SCI FI Wire reported that Sam Rockwell has two upcoming SF movies: the Jared Hess-directed Gentleman Broncos, an SF comedy, and Moon, a drama about a stranded astronaut.  Broncos is an homage to Buck Rogers, Rockwell said in a group interview on Sept 13. "It's more like hillbilly Buck Rogers. It's weird. It's like a cowboy Flash Gordon. His name's Bronco, and he's like a hillbilly spaceman. It's weird. It's out there."  Rockwell was vague about the film, about a high schooler at a writer's camp who gets plagiarized by an experienced novelist. The film is awaiting a release date from Fox Searchlight.
