From Time to Time

1/13/09 – SCI FI Wire reported that Eliza Hope Bennett, who will soon be seen in the family fantasy film Inkheart, said her next project will be a time-travel film called From Time to Time.  "It's a fantasy in the sense that it does have an element which is not reality: It has time travel in it," Bennett said. "But it's set in two times, and my character is set in 1809, and it's also set in 1944. It's the war, and then it's my character, and it switches between the two."  The 16-year old actress, who previously appeared in Nanny McPhee, said that From Time to Time provided a markedly different challenge for her from Inkheart, in which she plays the daughter of a man (Brendan Fraser) who can bring books to life by reading aloud.

6/27/08 - Ealing Studios International has found buyers for Julian Fellowes' time-travel movie From Time to Time; the movie, based on Lucy M. Boston's The Children of Greene Knowe books, stars Maggie Smith and Timothy Spall in a story about a boy's journey through time to discover his family's past.
