3/28/11 - Tobe Hooper’s supernatural horror Djinn cast includes Khaled Laith and Razane Jammai to play the leads in the movie currently filming in the United Arab Emirates, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Written by David Tully, the movie tells the story of a young Emirati couple who return home from the U.S. and discover that their new apartment in a luxury high-rise built on the site of an abandoned fishing village is also home to the malevolent beings known as djinn.  Shooting begins this week and is scheduled for locations including Dubai.  Supporting roles include Aiysha Hart, Carole Abboud, Paul Luebke and May El Calamawy.  Djinn is produced by Daniela Tully and Tim Smythe, with Filmworks, Jaye Gazeley and Robert Crippen co-producing.
