8/18/08 - Alcon Entertainment has picked up the feature-film rights to Jerry Carr and Allan Gross' graphic novel series Cryptozoo Crew, as well as scribe Joe Gazzam's adaptation of the project, Variety reported; the film centers on a secret organization charged with protecting the identity of strange and rare animals classified as Cryptids.
