5/27/10 - Warner Bros. chairman and CEO Barry Meyer announced Contagion 3D release as October 21, 2011.  The narrative centers around the miscommunication surrounding a viral outbreak.  Director Steven Soderbergh is re-teaming with The Informant! scripter Scott Z. Burns, with a cast that includes Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, and Jude Law.  He’s also making his first 3D movie.
