6/17/09 - Summit Entertainment has bought Conjuring, a thriller pitch from sibling writers Chad and Carey Hayes, based on the real-life Perron family and Ed and Lorraine Warren, experts in paranormal activities, who investigated and battled the activities—which reportedly involved ghosts and demonic possession—in the Perron's Rhode Island home, Variety reported.
