Children of the Lamp

DreamWorks has acquired the film rights to the British children's
fantasy book series Children of the Lamp and set it up with
Nina Jacobson to produce. Writer Lee Hall will adapt the series.
The series follows the international adventures of a family of
djinn—or genies—who pass for human, but have the power to grant
wishes.
