Chain Letter

11/9/09 - New Films has picked up worldwide rights to Deon Taylor's horror film Chain Letter and will release the film in the U.S. next year, according to Variety.  The film stars Nikki Reed, Betsy Russell and Brad Dourif.  Storyline follows a serial killer who preys on teenagers. His target: Teens who fail to forward a chain letter.  New Films considers Chain Letter a franchise possibility, according to Taylor and the firm's proxy Nesim Hason.  Todd Slater produced Chain Letter through his Slater Brothers Entertainment shingle.
