9/9/08 - Noah Segan, who co-stars in Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever,
told SCI FI Wire that the sequel will take shock and gore to a new
level. "Oh, dude, you have no idea. It's unimaginable what's going on
in that movie--unimaginable!" Segan said. In Spring Fever, the
sequel to Eli Roth's 2002 gorefest, Segan hinted that the source of the
grotesque virus may be explained. The virus hits a high-school prom via
some bottled water. "I am kind of a Bohemian, sweet guy," Segan said.
"I'm playing a good guy [as opposed to his rather creepy role in
Deadgirl], and I'm very much the hero. I play it very Marty McFly
[from Back to the Future], like a guy who has to step up and
become the heroic dude. He has to become the hero because no one else
is." Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever is directed by Ti West and also
stars Rider Strong, Giuseppe Andrews and Judah Friedlander. It's
scheduled to come out later this year. |
