Atomic Betty

9/20/11 - The Harold Greenberg Fund has invested in a theatrical feature treatment for Teletoon’s Atomic Betty cartoon series from Canadian producer Skywriter Television, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  The Canadian industry fund is bankrolling a first script for Atomic Betty: The Movie, to be written by Alex Galatis.  “By combining live action and animation we are extending the Atomic Betty audience to tweens and young teens with an aged-up Betty who attends a real-life junior high school,” Kevin Gillis, CEO of Skywriter Media and Entertainment Group, and executive producer on the movie project, told Playback Daily in Canada.
