Ant Man

1/28/13 - President of production at Marvel Studios Kevin Feige wants fans to know that his eyes are already set beyond Marvel's Phase II of movie releases.  Phase III will include Ant-Man and Doctor Strange.  On the subject of Ant-Man, Feige emphasized that it's all about director Edgar Wright.  Ant-Man is definitely part of Phase Three.  As for Doctor Strange, Feige is excited for him.  He said he's a great, original character. He's totally different from anything else we have, just like Guardians of the Galaxy. He's totally different from anything we've done before, as is Ant-Man, which keeps us excited.  Source: Blastr.com

7/13/12 – Blastr.com reported that the Ant-Man movie that Marvel's been threatening to make just edged a little closer to reality.  Director Edgar Wright, who's been working on the script all this time, showed up at the Marvel panel in Hall H at Comic-Con. He and Marvel head Kevin Feige revealed that they had a test scene which Wright shot all cued up and ready to go.  Wright and Feige don't have a start date for production or a cast.

12/31/06 - Marvel has committed Edgar Wright to direct and co-write with Joe Cornish the feature film Ant Man who can shrink his body down to the size of an ant or expand to to a 100' tall.
