Book Reviews: The Incredible Hulk; Iron Man; Fantastic Four

The Incredible Hulk by Peter David

Oh my God!  What can I say about Peter David’s novelization of the best Hulk movie ever?  I love the Hulk.  I grew up watching the television show.  I’ve read just about every novel and most comics.  This book is no exception.  I recommend you go see the movie first, then read the book, then go back and see the movie again.  Peter David nails it gain.  If you loved the movie, you’ll love the book

Iron Man by Peter David

I like to go see the movie then read the book then see the movie again especially when the movie is excellent.  In this case, the book is just as good as the movie and doesn’t deviate much from the script.  Peter David is an excellent writer and great contributor to the Marvel world.  There is one thing you may find interesting in the book that is not portrayed well in the movie is the hidden feelings between Tony Stark and Pepper.  Check it out for yourself.

Fantastic 4 by Peter David

Okay - Fantastic Four by Peter David is the novelization of the summer's blockbuster movie under the same name.  If you saw the movie, this reads exactly like it.  Sometimes the book includes extensions of the story that were edited out of the movie.  Unfortunately, the book doesn't cover much else that what you saw in the film.  Oh well.  It's a good primer if you are waiting for the DVD release.
